CAREERS currently offers internship programs and career camps in these skill areas:

Health Services

CAREERS partners with Alberta Health and Wellness and Alberta Health Services to provide valuable internship opportunities for students interested in the health sector. We also have a pilot Health Care Aide program in the Livingstone Range and Buffalo Trail school division and a health services career camp in Edmonton.
 

Industrial Technologies

CAREERS is expanding our reach to industrial technologies with a pilot program in power engineering and full program in production field operation. These programs are currently available in select areas of Alberta where need is high. We also offer an Edmonton-based camp for students interested in power engineering.
 

Trades

CAREERS supports the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP), which allows high school students to begin their apprenticeship while working toward graduation, and offers a post-high school apprenticeship program. A Trades and Technology camp is also available to students in Grande Prairie.

Together, these areas represent over 250 possible occupations and endless possibilities for a student’s career path.
