Hilton Mierau Award
The Hilton Mierau Award of Excellence in Off-Campus Learning recognizes two outstanding off-campus coordinators each year, one each in northern and southern Alberta. Winners of this award are honoured at CAREERS' annual Celebration of Excellence, and receive a $200 scholarship to award to a graduating student in a CAREERS program at their school.
If your school's off-campus coordinator is a champion of off-campus programs who inspires students to explore careers, demonstrates innovation in promoting programs, and know the industries involved inside and out, please consider nominating him or her for this award.
Award Criteria
- works directly with CAREERS: The Next Generation in the promotion of one or more of our programs
- is the designate for off-campus programming at an Alberta school
How to Nominate
- Download and complete the nomination form.
- Provide a letter explaining why you are nominating this person.
- Provide three letters of support, one each from a student or parent, school administrator or principal and an employer.
