Career Camps

All three career camps are open to students grades 9-12.

Health Sciences Career Camp 

August 13-16, 2012

This four-day camp is held in Edmonton in partnership with Alberta Health Services, NorQuest College, Grant MacEwan University, University of Alberta and Covenant Health. Students get the opportunity to experience many different health sciences programs, tour facilities and meet and learn from a variety of health care professionals. They can expect to learn about fields from diagnostic testing to therapeutic massage to disability management.

Power Engineering Camp

July 9-13, 2012

This five-day overnight camp in Edmonton puts power engineering students in hands-on lab classes during the day, coupled with fun activities in the evening. Students earn two high school credits for their attendance.

Trades and Technology Camp

May 3-4, 2012

Held in Fairview, this two-day camp gives students an opportunity to explore trades and technology training opportunities at Grande Prairie Regional College. With over 50 apprenticeable trades in Alberta, there's a great deal to learn about pursuing a career in the trades.
