May 3, 2012 - Celebration of Excellence
Our annual Celebration of Excellence recognizes the invaluable contributions of CAREERS' employers and educators in delivering internship programs to students. Each year we present the Hilton Mierau Award to two off-campus coordinators, one each from northern and southern Alberta. This year we have two new awards honouring mentors and interns in the trades and health services. Nominate someone today!
May 3-4, 2012 - Trades and Technology Camp
CAREERS partners with Grande Prairie Regional College to host a two-day overnight camp in Fariview exploring career and training opportunities available in those fields. For more details, have a look at the poster. Registration forms are due on April 20, 2012.
July 4 & 5, 2012 - Eric Newell 'Kids in Careers' Golf Classic
Our annual golf tournament, established in 2009, pays tribute to Eric Newell, founder of CAREERS, board chair, and one of our most committed champions. This major CAREERS Fundraiser directly supports student programming at CAREERS and helps solve Alberta's skill shortage one student at a time. This one-of-a-kind event takes place July 5.
You will also enjoy an evening of networking and excitement on the eve of our golf tournament, July 4. With the competitive spirit in the air, CAREERS hosts a silent auction featuring everything from trips to summer treats.

November 2012 - RAP Scholarship Celebration
By invitation only, the Registered Apprenticeship Program Scholarship Celebration is a dinner and awards show celebrating the success of RAP Scholarship recipients. Scholarship students go above and beyond in their trades internships and apprenticeships, showing dedication and drive. We invite them, their families, their employers and educators to join us as we recognize their achievement in an awards presentation.
Winter 2013 - Future Circle
Our annual Future Circle event honours the contributions of the valued investors in CAREERS. Supporters who have invested in CAREERS for five years or more are inducted into the 'Future Circle' each year.
