Our annual Excellence Award program recognizes the invaluable contributions of CAREERS' employers and educators in delivering internship programs and the students who are Alberta's future. Each year we present awards in three separate categories:

  • Hilton Mierau Award of Excellence in Off-Campus Learning - awarded to two Off-Campus Coordinators, one each from Northern and Southern Alberta.
  • Loraine Anderton Award of Excellence in Health Services - awarded to two mentors and two student interns, one each from Northern and Southern Alberta for a total of four awards.
  • CAREERS: The Next Generation Award of Excellence in Skilled Trades - awarded to two mentors and two student apprentices, one each from Northern and Southern Alberta for a total of four awards.

The Futures Circle Induction is dedicated to recognizing our foundation's investors, sponsors, and donors who support and donate towards the mission of our organization. We induct those who have continuously contributed to CAREERS for at least five years into the Futures Circle.
