The Loraine Anderton Award of Excellence in Health Services

New for 2012, the Loraine Anderton Award recognizes an outstanding mentor and intern in CAREERS' health services internship program.

New for 2012, the CAREERS Award of Excellence recognizes an outstanding mentor and student apprentice in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

The Hilton Mierau Award of Excellence in Off-Campus Learning

Each year we present the Hilton Mierau Award to two off-campus coordinators, one each from northern and southern Alberta, who show excellence in the field of encouraging and supporting students in internship programs.

Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) Scholarship

The Registered Apprenticeship Program Scholarship is an Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board initiative awarding $1,000 to qualified Alberta RAP students. Each year CAREERS hosts the RAP Scholarship Celebration, an award ceremony and dinner for recipients of the scholarship.
