He got his start in the trades through CAREERS' Trades and Technologies Program while attending Didsbury High School.

Scholarship recipient Julia Kent, an apprentice chef at Chez Denis Restaurant in Bonnyville, was gladly recognized for her achievements at the Edmonton celebrations. She got her start in the trades through CAREERS' Trades and Technologies Program. Julia graduated from Bonnyville Centralized High School.

At the NAIT celebrations, guests are treated to demonstrations of trade careers, like this one set up by the Crate and Hoisting Department at NAIT.

David Dunkley, a graduate of Sturgeon Composite High School, earned his scholarship while apprenticing as a Heavy Equipment Technician – Heavy Duty Equipment (Off-Road) in Legal. David graduated from Sturgeon Composite High School.
