Community Careers Cooperative (CCC) Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo Region

The Community Careers Cooperative is a multistakeholder group in the Wood Buffalo Region, responsible for programs assisting local students with school to work transition. The CCC meets the needs of local business and industry by engaging youth in trades and career preparation within the local region.

Through partnership with CAREERS: The Next Generation, the CCC receives expert advice, training, resources and administrative support, particularly for the RAP and Health Services programs.

The CCC is governed by a Board of Directors who is represented by all the school districts, various industry partners in the region and key organizations.

The Mission of the Community Careers Cooperative is to build Partnership within the community in support of education, lifelong learning, and workforce development. A one-stop coordinated approach to link the community with available programs for real world career exploration.
